This week we will continue our pre-chemistry unit by studying the conservation of mass and energy. Mixtures - solutions, suspensions and colloids will finish the week. Please remember to bring goggles to class on Tuesday to participate in the Conservation of mass lab.
We will have our quiz on Chapter 6 Fingerprints on Tuesday (11/12). We will start our unit on casts and impressions, with a quiz on this chapter on 11/18 (Monday)
This week we will start our chemistry unit with a review of the properties of matter, mixtures and solutions. We will cover the principles of chemical reactions and energy exchanges, and review the Law of the conservation of Energy, Mass and Matter.
This week we will begin our study of fingerprints and their use in forensic investigations. Mr. Troy Vincenzo, a certified fingerprint analyzer will visit our classroom on the 6th and 7th of November.
