Continue Edgenuity. I will except work done in the program through January 16th. This class does not have a final exam.
This week we will introduce the final unit of the integrated science curriculum, Earth Science. We will study plate techtonics and continental drift. We will learn how and where volcanoes and earthquakes form. We will see how the rock cycle demonstrates the law of conservation of mass.Please see the class calendar for home work assigned and an extra credit offering.
We will have an open note quiz on blood and blood spatter on Monday. We will finish the week with an introduction to DNA analysis, with a lab on electophoresis testing methods.
We will continue the edgenuity program. Cadets should work on the progam over the very long break to stay in the green.
We will finish our chemistry unit this week with a summative exam on Thursday. The Bohr model project is due Monday, December 16th by the end of the day. We will complete our chemistry unit by learning about balancing chemical formulas and simple chemical equations.
