Grade 7RC ELA - students wrote the chapter 16 Spelling quiz and we corrected it in class. Students were also given a reading comprehension handout about the story of The Sound of Music, due tomorrow.
Grade 8B and 8M MATH - we corrected all previously assigned questions and there is no homework.
Grade 7C MATH - we corrected all previously assigned items and students started to work on questions 14-20 on page 250-251.
Grade 7RC MATH - I gave the students notes/examples about subtracting Mixed Numbers and page 257 ALL is due tomorrow.
Grade 7RC ELA - we corrected all previously assigned Spelling questions and students started working on questions 1b and 2a on page 67 as well as 1 and 2 on page 68, for tomorrow. They also wrote a Chapter 16 prequiz, the actual Spelling quiz will be on Monday.
Grade 8M and 8B MATH - previously assigned questions were corrected and students began to work on questions 17,18 and 19 on page 350-351, for tomorrow.
Grade 7RC MATH - we corrected yesterday's homework and started work on questions 14,15,16 and 17 on page 250 as well as 18 and 19 on page 251, for tomorrow.
Grade 7 RC ELA - students started a 4 page Language Power Review assignment based on the previous sheets, Lessons 10-26. Some finished in class otherwise due tomorrow to be handed in. As well, students wrote the Chapter 15 Spelling quiz and we corrected it in class.
Grade 8B and 8M MATH - we corrected most of the questions assigned yesterday. To be continued tomorrow. No homework.
Grade 7RC and 7C MATH - students wrote a short quiz on adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. We also looked at adding mixed numbers and I assigned questions 4-8 on page 249, for tomorrow.
