FRENCH 6 - We read the next section of the Natalie story, 'Chez les Tremblays' and worked on pronunciation. We also reviewed briefly Natalie arrive. There will be a quiz on vocabulary words 1-48 on Monday.

FRENCH 7G - we worked on sentences related to Les Matieres  using the verb Avoir. No homework.

FRENCH 7C - students finished their Horaire, school schedule in French and it's due at the beginning of next class. We also reviewed the verb Avoir and sentences using Les Matieres and Avoir were assigned, due also next class.

RELIGION 7C - Students finished presenting their personal coat of arms to the class. No homework.

FRENCH 8B - We finished correcting the homework and new practice questions were assigned. Time was given in class but it has to be finished at home for tomorrow. We will go over it tomorrow and then have a quiz.

RELIGION 8M - Students were assigned Bible passages related to the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and were given time to read them, summarize them in their own words and explain how they are an example of that particular Gift. They will present next class.

FRENCH 8M - Students were given a practice worksheet related to demonstrative adjectives and pronouns and time to work on it in class. It has to be finished at home for tomorrow. We will correct it tomorrow and then have a quiz.

FRENCH Grade 4 - Students handed in their coloured and labelled drawing of an animal of their own choosing. We then added 5 more animals to our list of French words and practiced the whole list up to now. The term 'animal de compagnie' - pet, was introduced. There will be a quiz on Monday where the students are expected to know the English meaning of each French animal name studied.

FRENCH 5 - Students wrote a quiz on pizza vocabulary words 31-58 and then we corrected it in class, together. For Friday, the homework is to write again/reproduce in ENGLISH the menu Chez Antonio.

RELIGION 7C - We read as a class Jesse's Story on page 6 of the textbook and discussed new beginnings in life. Students shared personal experiences and they started to answer questions 1-6 regarding the story. These answers are due tomorrow for handing in, (although most people finished in class).

FRENCH 7C - We reviewed the verb Avoir - to have in the present tense and applied it to making sentences related to Mon Ecole and different school subjects in French. No homework for tomorrow.

No French or Religion classes today. I was away with both Grade 7 classes and teachers at the GRADE 7 RETREAT which took place at the Holy Cross Church.

FRENCH 7G - Students worked on their Horaire, their own school timetable translated in French using the vocabulary words previously given in class. Due tomorrow morning.

RELIGION 8B - We started to read, learn and talk about the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. No homework.

FRENCH 8B - We corrected the homework given last class, related to demonstrative adjectives and pronouns (ce, cette, etc, celui, celle, etc). Our class was interupted by 2 guest speakers (nuns) so we didn't finish. There will be a quiz on these items on Friday.

FRENCH 6 - We read together the poem/song Bienvenue Natalie and worked on pronunciation. No homework.

FRENCH 8M - We corrected the homework from before, related to demonstrative adjectives and pronouns. New practice items, 16, were put on the board as homework due Thursday. There will be a quiz on Friday.
