FRENCH 5 - Students wrote a quiz on vocabulary words related to Bienvenue au Quebec and Venez chez moi, then we corrected it in class. No homework.

FRENCH 6 - We read the section on Natalie at the movies and discussed the meaning of words. No homework.

RELIGION 7 C - we read the textbook story on Why shouldn't I do what I want? as well as the Desert and Mountain Gazette stories about the Ten Commandments. We discussed the meaning of freedom. No homework.

RELIGION 7 G - Same as above.

FRENCH 7C - We began to look at La Nourriture - Food and taking down notes about different items. To be continued. No homework.

FRENCH 4 - We reviewed the 22 items realted to parts of the body. There will be a short quiz on these items (their meaning) on Thursday.

FRENCH 8 M - We reviewed Clothing - Les Vetements. Students have 15 practice sentences due tomorrow and a quiz on Friday.

RELIGION 8 M - we began to read the section on The Birth of the Church and discuss different parts. One question sheet was handed out, due on Friday.

FRENCH 4 - We took notes about Les Parties du Corps - Parts of the body, 22 items in total and went over the drawings they had done with the substitute to check for spelling. We also practiced pronouncing the new words. No homework.

FRENCH 5 - Students worked on translating the first 2 paragraphs of the Venez Chez Moi stories. They have a vocabulary quiz for the words from Bienvenue Au Quebec and Venez Chez Moi on Monday.

RELIGION 7C - we read the story about The prisonier, the hen and the miracles on p.37 of the text and discussed about the way God provides for us when we are in trouble and then we went over the summary of the Exodus story starting on p. 39. To be continued. No homework.

FRENCH 7C - we finished practicing writing sentences about actions that we "do to ourselves", je me..., tu te..., il se..., etc. No homework.

FRENCH 5 - we read together and separately the Chez Moi paragraphs discussed the meaning and wrote down a few new vocabulary items. No homework.

FRENCH 8B - we finished correcting the translations on the Aimer + Infinitif sheet and students began work on Acheter (Les Vetements). Due on Thursady - blanks ad translations.

FRENCH 7G - We practiced writing sentences in French about actions that we do \"to ourselves\". No homework.

FRENCH 7C - Students finished their map and time lines. No homework.

RELIGION 7G - Students read out loud, taking turns, the stories of James and Agnes (p.32-35) two modern Abraham and Sarah, and we had a class discussion about placing our trust in God. No homework.

RELIGION 7C - Same as above.

FRENCH 5 - students were asked to translate into English the short Bienvenue Au Quebec passages, using their notes. Due on Wednesday.

RELIGION 7G - Students worked on their Bible Timeline. No homework.

FRENCH 7G - We looked at daily routines, in French, including some ER regular verbs. The homework consists of organizing the routine sentences in a logical order and writing the 2 assigned verbs in all forms like the example on the board (se reveiller). Due next class.

FRENCH 7C - same as above.

FRENCH 8B - We reviewed clothing items and students worked on 2 sheets related to Les Vetements , one using the verb Porter and the other with Aimer. Due next class.

FRENCH 7G - Students wrote a hand in assignment, open book, about telling the time in French. No homework.

RELIGION 8B - we read a story about Solidarity, "Sonia" and discussed living conditions in El Salvador and what it means to be in solidarity with others. We also started to read about the meaning of Church. To be continued. No homework.

FRENCH 8B - We corrected worksheet 20 on Aimer and L'Ecole, the started to talk about Les Vetements, partly review from previous years and partly new stuff. To be Continued tomorrow. No homework.

FRENCH 6 - we reviewed all Natalie stories from the beginning and there will be a vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, on the new items related to Natalie au Centre Ville.

FRENCH 8M - We began to talk about Les Vetements, clothing and after taking notes on vocabulary words, The studfents were assigned a sheet about Vetements using the verb Porter (to wear). Due Wednesday.
