FRENCH 4 - we started to look at numbers - Les Numeros/Chiffres and wrote down 1-20. We also practiced together and individually pronunciation and played a game to help students remember and say the numbers. Lastly I introduced numbers up to 20 in connection to Les Animaux so they can review animals as well. No homework.
FRENCH 5 - The class read together and separately the 2 pages on Chez Antonio, the steps in making a pizza. We discussed new words, wrote them down as notes and reviewed previous vocabulary. No homework.
RELIGION 7C - we concluded our discussion on different personality types as seen from their surveys (WHO AM I) and continued by reading the story ' A very strange visit' on page 12 of the text, related to what makes us unique and a whole person. No homework.
FRENCH 7C - we correctyed the sentences that were assigned as homework previously (Matieres and Avoir) and started to look at how you say the time in French (read a clock). A few vocabulary words were given as notes on the board and we will get more fully into it toward the end of next week. No homework.
FRENCH 5 - Students wrote a short quiz on vocabulary items related to Chez Lucie and we corrected it together in class.
RELIGION 7G - students finished the personality survey about WHO AM I (the boat) , identified their personality type and had a class discussion about our results. To be continued next time.
FRENCH 7G - we learned about how to tell the time in French, reviewed numbers 1-100 and 2 board practice questions were assigned as homework for Friday.
FRENCH 8B - We continued looking at different ER regular verbs. No homework.
FRENCH 7C - Students wrote a short quiz on Les Matieres and the Verb Avoir and we corrected in class together. no homework.

RELIGION 8B - Students continued to present their Bible readings.
FRENCH 8B - we started looking at regular ER verbs and the present tense endings. No homework.
FRENCH 6 - We continued the Natalie story with a new section, A L'ECOLE. We practiced reading and pronunciation and checked for new vocabulary items. No homework.
FRENCH 8M - We continued learning about ER regular verbs including CER (commencer) and GER (manger). No homework.
FRENCH 5 - We reviewed Chez Lucie vocabulary and added a few extra words to the list. We also practiced reading and pronunciation. A short vocabulary quiz will take place next class.
FRENCH 6 - Students wrote a quiz on items 1-48 . No homework.
FRENCH 7C - we reviewed the verb Avoir and Les Matieres. There will be a quiz on Wednesday.
RELIGION 7G - Students read out loud Jesse's Story from the textbook and we had a class discussion about it and what it means to make a fresh start, a new beginning. Then they had to answer questions 1-6 in the book, to be handed in.
FRENCH 4 - Students wrote a quiz on Les Animaux. No homework.
FRENCH 8M - we talked about regular ER verbs and went over a list of such verbs and their meaning in English, as well as the verb endings for the present tense. Homework due tomorrow - board items to translate.
RELIGION 8M - Students continued to present to the class their summary and explanation of an assigned Bible reading and how it relates to the Gifts of The Holy Spirit.
RELIGION 7C - the class completed a survey with questions related to their individual personality as part of the WHO AM I topic of discussion.
FRENCH 5 - Most students handed in their menu translations that were due today. We continued to practice reading the Chez Lucie section of the Pizza unit and studying the vocabulary associated. No homework for next class.
RELIGION 8M - Different students or groups of two students presented in front of the class the summary of their assigned Bible reading and explanation of how it exemplifies one of the Gifts of The Holy Spirit. To be finished next time.
FRENCH 7G - We corrected together the 10 homework sentences that used the verb avoir with Les Matieres. Then we played a game testing our knowledge of the present tense of Avoir. There will be a short quiz on Tuesday on the verb Avoir. Students need to know the meaning and how to spell all forms of the verb (conjugations) in the present tense as well as the meaning (translation) of the Matieres that we studied.
RELIGION 8B - Students were assigned individual or with a partner, readings from the Bible that reflect one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. They were given time to read their passage, think about what it says, summarize it in their own brief words and provide a short explanation of how the reading exemplifies one of the Gifts that we read about in the textbook. Toward the end of the second religion class presentations started and will be continued next time.
FRENCH 8B - students wrote a quiz on demonstrative adjectives and pronouns, for ex. celui, ceux...celle, etc. no homework.
FRENCH 8M - same as French 8B.
