GRADE 7 RC ELA - We compared our personal list of homophones (homonyms) to create a 'super list'. In progess, no homework.
GRADE 8 MATH - both classes. We corrected questions due today. No homework.
GRADE 7 MATH - both classes - we learned about multiplying decimals, including estimates. Students are working on page 58/59 questions 9,10,11,12,13,17,18 due tomorrow.
GRADE 7 RC - ELA - students contributed homophone pairs for class discussion. A chapter 2 Spelling pretest was also held. Page 5 and 6 all questions due Wednesday.
GRADE 7 RC MATH - We read examples 1 and 2 on page 53-55 in the textbook and students are working on page 57 questions 3 - 6 for Wednesday.
GRADE 8 MATH - both classes - we corrected all items due today. Students are working on page 142 questions 10 - 13.
GRADE 7 RC ELA - we corrected questions due today and we talked about Homonyms (Homophones). Students are to write down as many pairs (or triplets) of Homophones as they can think of for Monday.
GRADE 8 MATH - both classes - students were given notes and examples about Percent of a Number and are working on page 142 questions 4,5,7,8,9 due Monday.
GRADE 7 RC ELA - we corrected all Spelling questions due today. Students are working on page 4 questions 1,3 due tomorrow. There will be a Chapter 1 Spelling Quiz on Monday.

GRADE 7 RC ELA - students finished presenting their How I Spent My Summer story and handed it in. We also started our Spelling program. Students wrote a Chapter 1 pretest and began working on page 1 question1, page 2 all and page 3 questions 1 and 2 due tomorrow.
GRADE 8 MATH - both classes - we corrected all items due today. Students are working on page 150 questions 9,10 and 11 due tomorrow. There will also be a quiz tomorrow on sections 4.1 and 4.2
