Grade 7 RC ELA - students worked in groups to correct questions in Chapter 24 Spelling, pages 99 - 104. Reading time for Chapters 9-10 of Novel Studies was also given. No homework.
Grade 7 RC MATH - students wrote a quiz on Area of Parallelogram. Grade 7 C will write this quiz tomorrow. No homework.
Grade 8 MATH - both classes - We corrected all items due today. Students are working on worksheet 6.8 questions 17 - 28 and textbook page 398 # 11,12,13 due tomorrow
Grade 7 RC - ELA - students are working on Chapter 24 Spelling Review pages 99-104 all questions, due Monday. They also answered, in class, questions related to Chapter 7 and 8 of their Novel Study.
Grade 8 MATH - both classes - we corrected all items due today and took notes on the Distributive Property. Questions 4-10 on page 398 are due tomorrow. As well, there will be a short quiz on Solving One Step Equations tomorrow.
Grade 7 MATH - both classes - We corrected all items due today. No homework. There will be a quiz on Area of Parallelogram, on Monday.
ALL GRADE 7 STUDENTS ARE GOING ON A FIELD TRIP TOMORROW, WITH THEIR SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS, TO THE MUSEUM.
Grade 7 ELA - we corrected items due today and students are working on page 75 all and 76 #2,3 in their Spelling book, due tomorrow. There will be a Chapter 17 Spelling quiz tomorrow and comprehension questions related to chapters 1 and 2 of their Novel Studies - The Outsiders.
Grade 8 MATH - both classes. No homework. Students wrote a quiz on sections 9.1 and 9.2
Grade 7 MATH - both classes. We corrected all questions due today. Students are working on page 28 # 19,20 for Friday. There will be a quiz on Section 1.1 The Cartesian Plane on Monday.
Grade 7 ELA - Students are reading chapter 2 of their Novrl Study for tomorrow, when they will have comprehension questions. As well there will be a Chapter 17 Spelling Quiz tomorrow. Finally, students started to work on pages 73 and 74 of the Chapter 18 review in their Spelling book.
Garde 8 MATH - both classes. Students are working on page 357 # 8,9 and 10 for tomorrow. There will be a quiz on sections 9.1 and 9.2 of the textbook tomorrow.
Grade 7 MATH - both classes. Students are working on page 26-28 # 11-18 for tomorrow, Rotations.
Grade 7 RC ELA - Students were given time to read chapter 1 of their Novel Studies. Friday there will be Comprehension Questions related to the chapter. As well there was a Chapter 17 Spelling pre test and students are working on p. 69 and 70 all questions for tomorrow. The Chapter 16 Spelling Quiz is also tomorrow.
Grade 8 MATH - both classes - students are working on page 350-351 # 16,17 and 18 due tomorrow.
Grade 7 RC MATH - we corrected items due today. Students are working on worksheet 7.7-7.8 due tomorrow.
Grade 7 C MATH - we corrected items due today . Students are working on worksheet 7.7-7.8 and worksheet p. 209-211 all due on Friday.
