We will have our final exam on Wednesday, May 29 during first block. This will be our last meeting as a class.
This week, we will start our study of endangered species. We will introduce the unit with a web search of the history of the Endangered Species Act, and what it means to be "critically endangered" . We will use this information to prepare for our final exam, Wednesday May 29th during first block.
We will start our week with the study of botanicals and soil and how it can be used in forensic investigation. Thursday, we will begin to plan for our final crime scene set up, design and investigation.
After our Chem II summative, we will start our final unit, Earth Science. We will learn about the history of our planet and the dynamics of the movement of Earth's plates .
We will start our study of casts and impressions and have a quiz on the content Friday. We will conduct a lab, where we will create our own dental impressions for comparison, and we will pour a plaster cast of a boot print in soil. Next week we will prepare to set up our own crime scenes, and solve them using forensic analysis techniques we have studied this semester.
