This week we will begin to look at the science behind climate change. After some background, cadets will be asked to pick a side in a debate focusing on the scientific, moral, ethical and political aspects of the climate change argument.
We will conduct a crash force lab with complete write up using experimental procedure format. A quiz on speed, acceleration, force,mass, weight and Newton's Laws will be given on Wednesday. We will begin to look at alternate forms of energy. An alternate energy research paper will be assigned, due Thursday, March 7.

We will start or study of Newton's Laws and forces. Newton's Laws webquest is due on Friday.
This week we will complete our unit on terrestrial biomes. We will have a summative evaluation of concepts on Friday. Drawings for the Wilmington Clean Waterways Art Contest will be collected on Friday.
